We have a fleet of 10 Mac Don swathers. Some are rotary style heads with side delivery units that allow us to combine up to 48 feet together in one windrow if the condiyions permit it. We also have multiple 21 and 25 foot draper heads. These units are what we like to call our grain savers. We can swath a dry mature crop and not cause lots of grain loss. We also can swath hay and lay multiple windrows close to each other saving time raking or merging. These units serve us well for being able to windrow straw after grain harvest, so that it can be baled.
